I'm hoping someone else has accomplished this task or has a lead. We will be upgrading our VM environment soon and as part of that, re-evaluating our Pools. Instead of one pool, dedicated to user at login, we will have two. One linked clone for most users, the other will still be dedicated and mostly for users requiring special software to be installed. They will get assigned VM at login, through entitlement. My dilemma is how to make the users local admins on their VM only? and can this be done at first login in some automated fashion? They need to be local admins for some of the customization's they will be doing on their VM's and I do not want calls to HelpDesk every time a contractor needs to make a change on their VM. Has anyone achieved this or done something similar? Thanks.
