we are migrating our workloads to a major cloud provider (private cloud), the SDDC platform is based entirely on the stack vmware cloud suite (SDN NSX).
Out of a total of approx. 500 (vxlan/VLAN) approx. 40 VLANs have mixed workloads (physical servers and VMs).
We asked to use NSX Bridge to do the migration and have a fully SDDC situation.
The provider told that it is absolutely not a valid solution and that vmware absolutely discourages the use of these objects (cause instability and complexity of management).
Proposing a solution without NSX, with portgroups and a system of distributed firewalls to implement the Micro-segmentation.
I just wanted to know if it is true that vmware does not recommend the use of bridges and possibly where I can find documentation on the subject.
