Setting syslog sending host name on ESXi 6.5

Hi

I have enabled remote syslog ... to a rsyslog server. it works.

But my setup is such that the hostname used in the syslog entrie is used to file the entry.

So my 6.5 Esxi box is sending

*) short name

*) fqdn

*) some random garbage like  Unit-02001d00006000d310Z

Is there a way to set the sending host name in ESXi.
