Due to the encryption its likely not possible to check the virtual disk's metadata, i.e. the contents of "Windows XP Professional-D3.vmdk".

Anyway, what looks unusual is that the files -s001 ... -s133 do are missing the .vmdk extension. It may be worth a try to add the extension to these files to see whether this helps.

In any case you should - unless already done - backup all of the VM's folders/files prior to doing any modification, in case something doesn't work as expected.
