Re: Shrinking a preallocated VMDK to run in a smaller environment

Officially, the only way to "shrink" (although this isn't exactly what occurs) a VM is to use VMware Converter to convert it from the inside out to a new, smaller VM. Use search to look for Converter as well as instructions on using it.
