The bug is present over WiFi. Used to work up to fusion 8, 9 broke functionality. The bug (as listed above and documented with packet captures) is due to the host's MAC Address being used instead of the VM's. Reinstalled VMware Fusion as well as fresh install of Host MacOS 10.14.
